It’s simple. The world is divided into
people of Emotion and Logic. The people of Emotion strive hard to maintain
their core at best and develop Logic simultaneously failing hard at times. The
same goes with people of logic who maintain their core and strive hard to
understand the counterpart. While the debate between which is better goes on
among the ordinary, the balance between the both is recommended by the
intellectuals and what is considered to be the best contributor to progress.
Based on worldly observations, the people
of East and the West display stark differences in their nature. It is obvious
that the East is leaned towards Emotion while the West is leaned toward Logic.
Argument towards and against both the observations can be made taking into regard
the scientific discoveries and plenty of other examples. But our topic now
focuses keenly on the entertainment generated form both the sides.
One can notice that the majority of the
movies that come from the west are insanely Logical and highly foolproof. The
majority of movies be it of any genre project logic to utmost perfection. This
does not mean that romantic movies aren’t made in the west or that they don’t
carry enough weight as the rational action ones but the case to be made is that
majority of western lot think more logically. An argument can be made that the
developments in technology led the way to this progression. While this is also
true, the difference still stands out justifying the original assumption.
On the other hand, a majority of Indian
movies are highly emotional and project stories of love while discussing
culture and traditions- the culture that is reputed in the western world as
being one of the most ancient ones. This indicates the mindset of Indians at
being more emotional rather than logical.
These movies that are mostly based on
emotional appeal, do teach the logical folk- empathy, one of the most basic
elements that make us human beings. While Indians can learn to be a little
logical in their life looking at the western way, the western populace can do
